Abstract
Title: Digital Modeling and Optimization of Manufacturing Processes for Special-Purpose Tubes
Abstract: This presentation focuses on the application of finite element analysis (FEA) and computational modeling to the manufacturing of special-purpose tubes, including profiled, capillary, and heat-exchanger tubes. The work addresses key challenges in cold drawing processes, such as non-uniform deformation, residual stresses, springback, and contact pressure distribution. A numerical framework is proposed to optimize die geometry and process parameters, reducing defect rates and improving dimensional accuracy. The study also explores the integration of machine learning methods for predicting product quality and automating tool design. Practical recommendations are provided for industrial implementation, including die design modification and process route optimization. The results are validated through experimental data and industrial trials, demonstrating improved efficiency and product reliability.
