Karin Immenroth is Global Chief Data Officer and Managing Partner at Mediaplus Group, where she leads the development of data and AI capabilities for a global media business. She is driving the development of Plus.AI, a modular AI platform designed to bring data, technology and strategic planning together in practical client workflows. Previously, she served as Chief Data & Analytics Officer at RTL Deutschland. In 2026, she was recognised as one of W&V’s AI Leaders.

Title: From AI Pilots to Trusted Operations: Building Governed AI at Global Scale
Abstract: Scaling AI across an international organisation requires more than powerful models. It requires an operating model that makes data access, accountability and human oversight part of everyday practice. Drawing on the development of Plus.AI, a modular AI platform for media planning and analytics, this talk explores how organisations can embed responsible AI principles into real business processes. It examines practical challenges such as protecting sensitive data across markets, defining clear ownership, managing role-based access and keeping human approval in place for consequential decisions. The talk will share lessons on connecting governance with adoption and operational value—so that AI can scale across teams while supporting trust, resilience and responsible use.
