Title: Beyond Automation: Responsible Generative AI Adoption, Cybersecurity Awareness, and Digital Trust in Organizations
Abstract: The growing adoption of generative artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming organizational decision-making, communication, and information management while introducing emerging cybersecurity and data privacy challenges. This paper examines the relationship between responsible AI adoption, employee cybersecurity awareness, and digital trust in organizational settings. It focuses on the importance of AI literacy, transparent governance, data protection practices, and employee training in mitigating risks associated with sensitive information disclosure, AI-enabled social engineering, and misuse of generative AI tools. The paper proposes an integrated conceptual framework connecting responsible AI governance and employee awareness with organizational cyber resilience and digital trust. It also discusses the implications for human resource management, managerial decision-making, and organizational policy. The framework aims to contribute to interdisciplinary discussions on developing secure, responsible, and trustworthy AI-enabled workplaces.
